Friends matched a $10,000 challenge grant from a generous, anonymous donor to improve ponds in the Seashore. The $20,000 raised provides a needed boost to improve resource protection and public access at: Dyer and Duck Pond in Wellfleet, Snow and Great Pond in Truro, and Beech Forest Pond in Provincetown.  Critical improvements to maintain the health of these ponds include removing hazardous trees, controlling access points, installing fencing, and planting native shrubs and biodegradable jute netting to restore shoreline vegetation. Work is ongoing.
