Become Part of Our Board

The Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore (FCCNS) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors or Committees. After six years of invaluable service, several of our current board members are retiring, and we need passionate, committed people to step in and continue the vital work of supporting this cherished National Seashore. 

As a board member, you will play a crucial role in advancing FCCNS’s mission as a philanthropic partner to the Cape Cod National Seashore. Your contributions will help us protect, preserve, and enhance the Seashore for future generations.

What’s Involved:

We meet monthly at the Park Headquarters in Wellfleet, except in July and August. In July, our annual meeting is held at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham; there is no August meeting. Meetings are available in person or via Zoom.

Board members are asked to join one of our committees to help drive our initiatives forward.

If you want to join but can't commit to a board we have numerous committee opportunities.

If you believe you can make a meaningful difference, we invite you to apply. Please send a brief summary outlining your background, interests and how you can contribute to our efforts.

There is no residency requirement to be on the Board. Members can live anywhere. (A love for the Park is strongly suggested.) We need your support to ensure the Cape Cod National Seashore remains a treasured place for all to enjoy.
