This free hike explores the dunes and expansive salt marsh of Hatches Harbor. Migrating birds, salt marsh restoration, and local research will be among the topics covered. Meet at the Hatches Harbor parking area off of Province Lands Road, Provincetown. Led by FCCNS Board Members Melissa Lowe and Agnes Mittermayr. Length of walk is 2 miles on a flat sandy trail. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking, dress in layers, and bring drinking water. Bring binoculars if you have them. Walks will take place in sunshine and light showers; however, cancelled in heavy rain. No reservation required.
