Karen and Kevin's collaboration on their book "In the Wake of the Mayflower" presented the Mayflower adventure in a unique style that combined visual and written history in a vignette format.   Following the success of that account of the Pilgrims in the New World, they traveled to Holland to better understand the life they lived for the 12 years they spent in between leaving England and arriving in the New World. This talk explores the Pilgrims' road to the Mayflower. Road to the Mayflower

Weekly, evening programs at Salt Pond Visitor Center are sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore. For outdoor programs held at the Salt Pond Amphitheater, bench and lawn seating are available, picnicking is welcome, and bug spray is suggested. Indoor programs are in the air-cooled auditorium, and doors open at 6:30 pm. Some events are geared toward families. In the event of rain, outdoor programs will be moved indoors unless rain dates are listed.
