As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore board of directors decided to have a new logo created, both to increase our visibility to the Cape community and to emphasize we are a distinct organization that supports the Cape Cod National Seashore. Our original logo - while wonderful - is basically the Cape Cod National Seashore's logo, with our name encircling the logo in small type.

Our new logo, created by Grouper Design, a local graphic arts firm, features our name and a rising sun. You will soon see it everywhere - on the 25th anniversary signs in front of Salt Pond (see below) and Province Lands visitor centers, on our annual Magazine, on all brochures and newsletters, on newly designed headers for eNews and the Friends website, on our letterhead and membership cards, even on the baseball caps and T-shirts worn by Friends volunteers.

Part of the mission of Friends is to increase our membership in order to maximize the vital support that we contribute to the National Seashore -- contributions both of countless volunteer hours and funds raised by member dues, donations and fundraisers. These funds underwrite important Seashore projects that would otherwise be delayed or simply not get done due to the current budgetary climate.

Talk to your friends and family about the good work Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore does and encourage them to join us in helping to preserve our beloved Seashore.
